Brooke Rodriguez is a Táino mother living in Ramapough Munsee territory, co-founder of The Grinding Stone Collective, and co-owner of Buffalo Jump NYC. Brooke has been serving as executive director at The Grinding Stone Collective for the past two years. GSC focuses on uplifting the Indigenous Americas. First Foods promotes Native food culture and food sovereignty through education, mutual aid, and land rematriation. Brooke is invested in addressing indigenous food justice. She understands indigenous cultures maintain healthy stewardship of the land and that must center our indigenous community and culture in order to remember our original instructions.
