Arnab Mandal is a polymath with deep passion for Development, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Currently, he leads the Impact Measurement function at Tata Trusts – India’s biggest philanthropy.

Arnab is a prolific Angel Investor. He is associated with the Start-up India initiative as a Mentor; and also with the German Indian Start-up Exchange Program (GINSEP) as an honorary Ambassador. Arnab had co-authored a landmark report on Digital Education published by UNESCO. In 2019, he was invited by DAAD and BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) to visit German Parliament (Bundestag) as part of a global delegation.

Arnab has past experience of working on research & consulting assignments funded by UNDP, JICA, DFID, USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Ministry of Health (India), Ministry of Electronics & IT (India), etc.

In January, 2012, at the age of 25, Arnab was invited by MIT to shares ideas on Green Economy at the US Congress, and UN Headquarters, New York. In the same year, he visited FU Berlin, Germany as a DAAD Scholar. Arnab completed executive education from London Business School, Master's in Sustainable Development Practice from TERI, New Delhi, and Bachelor of Engineering (with IT major) from IIEST Shibpur, West Bengal, India.
