Regional Assessment Coordinator - East Africa, Aga Khan Foundation

Emily works at Aga Khan foundation as the Regional Assessment Coordinator for East Africa. She leads the development and adaption of holistic learning assessment tools and implementation of assessment activities in East Africa. She coordinates the administration of the holistic learning assessments and learning environment tools in-country, collating all data for sharing with internal teams, external partners, and teachers as needed. She is also leading the teacher professional development on assessment.

Prior to joining the Aga Khan Foundation, Emily had worked as an Educational Assessment Specialist where she supported 15 countries in developing holistic learning assessment tools both at Regional, National and Classroom level.

Emily has previously designed, advised, and coordinated education intervention programmes in multiple countries.

Emily holds a Master of Education from Makerere University.
