Gunhild Stordalen

President and Founder, EAT Foundation

Gunhild A. Stordalen, MD/PhD, is the co-founder & chair of the Stordalen Foundation and the founder & president of the EAT Foundation. She is a driving force in linking climate, health, and sustainability issues to transform the global food system. She serves on several executive and advisory boards, including the International Advisory Board of the Stockholm Resilience Centre, the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement lead group, BT Group´s Committee for Sustainable and Responsible Business, the climate initiative DrawDown, and the executive board of Nordic Choice Hotel Group. Gunhild is a renowned speaker, debater, and published scientist. She is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and was one of 29 leaders selected by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2016 to provide inspiration and direction for the SUN Movement and its mission in eradicating malnutrition. Gunhild is a medical doctor from the University of Oslo and holds a PhD in pathology/orthopedic surgery.
