Jared Lee
Co-founder and Senior Expert in Residence, Education Outcomes Fund
Jared is development finance specialist and a co-founder of the Education Outcomes Fund (EOF), an independent hosted trust fund at UNICEF dedicated to scaling up outcomes-based finance (OBF) in education. Having led the design and establishment of the two largest outcomes funds globally in developing countries, Jared is passionate about supporting governments to implement the science of evidence-based policymaking in education, and the role that OBF can play in supporting governments and donors to improve the systemic impact and cost-effectiveness of their spending on complex development challenges. Jared is a published author in the Stanford Social Innovation Review and a recognised thought leader in the field of innovative finance, as a regular speaker on the topic.
Jared’s previous experience has spanned a range of corporate and non-profit roles with organisations including Bain & Company, Goldman Sachs, The UK National Advisory Board on Impact Investing, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Jared studied Finance and Actuarial studies at the Australian National University. Outside of work, he is a keen runner, painter, and musician.
