Linda Henry

Linda Henry is the CEO of Boston Globe Media, a 150 year-old modern media company that includes The Boston Globe, boston.com and STAT News. Linda is also a partner in Fenway Sports Group, a four-time Emmy-award winning television producer, the founder of GlobeDocs Film Festival, an investor in the WNBA, and a co-Guinness World Record Holder.
Linda is proud to be involved with some of the great work at MIT as she serves on the board of The Engine @ MIT and is an advisor of Solve. She also worked closely with MIT as a co-founder of HUBweek, a civic collaboration between the Boston Globe, Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital, and MIT that explored the future being built at the intersection of art, science and technology.
Civically, Linda is a director of the Red Sox Foundation, is a Trustee of the Liverpool Football Club Foundation, Chair of the Boston Globe Foundation, and Chair of the John W. Henry Family Foundation. In addition, she is a founder of the Boston Public Market, serves on the The Women’s Foundation of Boston, The Shorenstein Center, and the BC CEO Club as well as helping out on many advisory boards.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Babson College, her Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from MIT, and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School. She received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Babson College.
