Talash Huijbers is the founder and CEO of InsectiPro Kenya. InsectiPro was founded in 2018 to produce alternative proteins sources for both feed and food. Talash grew up on a farm in Kenya and has thus seen the challenges that farmers go through while producing the food that we eat. Her company InsectiPro tackles food insecurity on multiple fronts with the use of insects. A couple of miles into it, she has remained focused on the vision, leading a team of over 60 employees into large scale production of BSF larvae and crickets for feed and food, respectively.
